Because of the tremendous amount of workload I had over the past few months, I’ve lost the ability to blog and have been depending on Tumblr and Google Reader to get my daily dose of well, reading. So now that I’ve more time in my hands, I’ve decided to start a new blog again to reignite my passion for writing.

I’ve opened a new Firefox window and I found myself watching the first episode of The Vampire Diaries. Then, I heard the protagonist saying, “Memories are too important”. I couldn’t agree more.

Undoubtedly, I was extremely depressed when they announced the results. I remember holding Annie’s and Yang’s hand and shutting my eyes tightly while muttering a prayer under my breath when they said ” Choir Number 11, Nanyang Junior College”. I vividly recall crying on the MRT and the bus throughout the journey back home. I resorted to buying 4 bubble teas as a form of comfort food.

I was so touched when so many of the choristers cheered me up and told me not to be sad anymore. I didn’t even tell them I was depressed. It felt like… they know me so well.

I feel so close to Nanyang choir probably because they are my first group of friends in Nanyang JC. I am going to miss the seniors so much, what with the lame jokes and everything.

Right now, I am not sad anymore. In fact, I am proud of Nanyang Choir and happy with our results.

I don’t know what’s wrong with me but I’m sitting here on the eve of a holiday, coughing like a mad woman, five days away from SYF.

It’s such a bad time to fall sick now, what with the numerous deadlines to keep up with. These days, I fine myself being a bitch during Maths Tutorials. Yes, she deserves it, but I jolly well know that I should control myself and not stoop so low to her level.

I used to find comfort in candies that come in the form of sweets and urm, people. But now, it does not give me the same satisfaction anymore. Think of the Big Mac example from first week of Econs lecture. Keeping the happy 101, I’ve made a mental note of what to eat after SYF.

College is like my house now. I reach school at about 7.30am on certain days and end at about 8.30pm. I’ll only reach home, say, 9.30pm. Bathe, eat, do work, sleep for 5 hours or less and this vicious cycle repeats itself every single day.

Then again, I’m quite happy here, where friends are like family, and ambitions are still a delusion. It’s amazing to have close friends who understand the crap that you’re going through right now.

I want to go back to the days when I could still afford to procrastinate and have time for TV.

I fell down the Oceanic trench and am 10 911m (35 798 ft) below sea level.

5 More days to SYF including today. Let’s give it our all.

I know that “Sleep Is So Last Night” but these days, I find myself hitting the sack at about 11PM, without studying or revising any of my work.

We celebrated Fiona’s birthday today. Poor her didn’t know that we were up to some mischief and obediently followed Esther to the canteen, thinking that it was a normal lunch.

NY Choir was amazing today! Mr Kwek, Miss Ng and some other random teachers came to watch us today. I was extremely high for the whole prac today. Probably because…

I’ve yet to recover! I still sound like a man and i still have a flu.

1. Eat Old Chang Kee
